Planning for Final Task: Location, Health, Schedule and More

 Scheduling: 

My partner and I will begin filming on March 27th. We will film all of the scenes that are in the park first. That is scenes 1-2. On March 28th we will film scenes 3-4 at my house, this will end our filming.  Editing will begin on the same day, March 28th. I and my partner will then edit our film at S&F Studios to put the film together, it should be finished on the same day. From March 29th to the first week of April my partner and I will perfect our final project to make sure it is at its best, we will then submit it to Cambridge to be scored.

Location: Me and my partner will be filming in 2 locations. The park by my house and also at my house.

Health and Safety: 

To ensure safety me and my partner will ensure that we are safe enough to be around each other for COVID-19. We have hung around each other before, and have been at each other's houses and it is safe. Our parents are also aware of our plan and have confirmed that it is okay. We have not been in contact with other people for a while, and we haven't been in contact with anyone who has had COVID ever. 

For the scene where my partner hit me in the head, we will be using a fake prop. It will not be made of anything harmful or dangerous. My partner will also be fake hitting me in the head and she won't actually be harming me. There will be fake blood used for the murder scene, but none of it will be real. 

My mom will be at my house when we are filming. If anyone goes wrong she will be a supervised adult to come and help. We also have a first-aid and safety kit in case anything goes wrong.

  Before: Once I finished filming and made sure I had all my scenes and looked back at them to make sure I was happy with them. I also deleted any extra videos saved in my camera roll that was not going to be used. Now, I started my editing process. During: During my editing process I officially sat down and began working on my commercial. The editing software that I used was Cute Cut Pro. I added the first scene of my commercial and cut up any extra time. Then, I added the next scene and made sure that the transition was clean and not choppy. Editing Blog for my Music Video

 Before: Now that my partner and I finished filming all our scenes we began editing. At this point, we had realized the mistake that we had made. We forgot that we needed to film our video horizontally and not vertically. We couldn't go back and retake the scenes because it was already dark outside.  During: When I was younger I would make random edits of my favorite celebrities and influencers. Because of this I already had some minor experience with using editing software. I did most of the editing but my partner was the creative director behind it. The first part was picking a good part of the song to use for our music video. I went on Youtube and Suzie suggested using the part of the song where there is less singing because it would fit better with our video. We did just that and got the 30 seconds of the song we needed. Lip-gloss Commercial Blog

 Youtube Link:  https://youtu.be/m8puPEq23A4     My overall experience with this commercial project was great. I really love the product I chose, I use it often and think its a great lip-gloss. When it comes to production, I enjoyed the way I filmed my project and edited it. I think it really represents who I am and the passion I have for makeup and beauty. The filming was pretty smooth and enjoyable. Editing was also fun, after I figured out home to do transitions and how to make my commercial the right length. I wish I would have incorporated all the aspects that I had on my storyboard and in my head into my commercial. However, I had limited time and wasn't able to fully create the commercial I wanted to. However, I am still very proud of what I created and think it's really close to what I intended it to be.
