Planning storyboard for Music Video
We wanted our first scene to be an establishing shot of the park. The park is where we are going to film our first couple of scenes. The establishing shot is meant to set the mood since parks are usually exciting and fun. We want to be clear that is the mood of our music video. We now move to the next scene, which is of us having a picnic. The whole theme of our music video is friendship. We wanted the video to show two typical friends in western society not having to worry about race. Now done with the picnic, we head back to my house. While walking down the street we wanted the camera to be in POV. In Jackson's video for Black or White, there is a scene where he dances in the street. We want to duplicate that scene, safely of course. Again giving off that feeling as if we have no care in the world. Back home, we have a little dance session. Suzie and I's favorite game to play is Just Dance. So we of course had to add it to our music video. Jamming on to, of course, Michael Jackson's song. Our second to last scene is us doing each other makeup like typical girls should. We both have a passion for makeup and fashion, getting ready to go nowhere. The last scene is us saying our goodbye's on the phone. This scene was inspired by the famous scenes in Mean Girls but this time it's nice girls. Overall, our music video has positive vibes only and we wanted to show how race is no factor in friendships!
